Breaking Free

The standard method for "parking" an icebreaker is to jam it into the fast ice
(fast ice is sea ice that is attached to shore). At McMurdo we got stuck a bit too well.
Thanks to the abilities of the captain and the capabilities of the ship,
we popped free after about 30 minutes of work.
