Žingvallavatn Hillside and Lake

Our first stop of the day was on the side of a mountain overlooking Žingvallavatn (Žingvellir Lake) and the Žingvellir (Thingvellir) area. The lake can be seen straight ahead in this panoramic view. The rest of our group can be seen on the observation platform.
