Imaging Credentials

Brief Biography

I became interested in astronomical imaging when working with my teenage son on amateur astronomy in 1993. Since I lived and worked in North Bend on the cloudy Oregon coast from 1979-2002, I was one of the founders of the ARGO observatory in Central Oregon where I went in my spare time to image under clear skies. I retired in June of 2000 and in 2002 moved to a drier location. I am also one of the founding members/builders of the cooperative remotely controlled ORION observatory in New Mexico, although I have now sold my interest in both ARGO and Orion to concentrate on imaging from my backyard observatory.
