I have been doing CCD imaging since 1993. I felt that as part of my "Newest Images" page it would be
appropriate to include my oldest image. While not truly my oldest, it is the oldest I still have the
files for. It is an image of M74 taken on August 14, 1994 (according to the .fits header). It is made
up of a whopping 4 frames of only 5 minutes each. In those days we only took a few exposures and only
one dark and one flat. Taken with the SBIG ST5 and C8 from a friend's place in Roseburg, Oregon.

Imaging has come a long way!
